when i first got on this site, i would bristle at the thought that i ever belonged to a cult.. do you believe that witnesses are truly "cultists"?.

Brilliant Talk Yesterday

just thought i would share this.........a brother who used to be a mercenary before he came into the truth gave the talk at the hall yesterday and he said that the bible was like jehovah's cv.....it told us everything about him.....so we can really know him.. he also said with all the governments and all the rules and regulations in the world, and nothing working at the moment, we should appreciate that jehovah only has 2 laws.............love him above all other things, and love our neighbours..........if only the whole world obeyed those 2 laws there would be peace without the need for armageddon................so its all down to humans why things are going wrong.. if we abandoned the planet tomorrow the earth would repair itself and there would be peace and harmony in nature.......... man has really messed up.. thank goodness we have had the chance to know jehivah and have a hope for the future!!.

There is no way that this will ever occur, so why spend time on hypothetical situations? The bible tells what will happen to the earth in the book of Isaiah for one. This planet will never be abondoned as it was created to be inhabited as written.

It is true that not only man has messed up, but also the wicked ones in the heavens have to the highest extent........

So the testimony of thousands upon thousands of victims means nothing to you? The elders hide the criminal act because, like most JWs, they are paranoid about the organization getting any sort of bad publicity. They hide it by threatening the victim with disfellowshipping. The perpetrator is protected. All in the name of protecting the image of the organization. Is that the sign of an organization doing what God would want?

Either bring before a worldly court of law or allow GOD to take care of it. HE knows what all has to be Judged. And you talk of these occurance yet you provide no proof. So how am I to look at it in order to make a determination? I know how an organization reacts when there is a law suit pending against them. They become the most ruthless criminals ever. I am not saying that it applies in the cases you mentioned, however I am aware of the practices of "ungodly" attorneys. I hate them with a passion and GOD will bring them all to justice.
